The Shredding Process

Below we document the full shredding process from start to finish.

Gathering your documents

Whether you have a document cabinet (as shown below), a tote or bankers boxes, the process is very similar from the start. Our Security Technician will unlock the secure container, empty the contents into our mobile tote and lock the mobile tote. This ensures your documents remain secure en-route to the truck for destruction.

Preparing for Shredding

Our Security Technician escorts the mobile tote to the shredding truck. When the truck is ready for the tote, it is only then unlocked and positioned within the chute of the shredder.

The truck grabs the bin to prepare to lift it into the truck. Our Security Technician sets the shredder, and lifts the bin into the shredding hopper, dumping the documents directly into the rotating blades.

At no time, are the documents available to be seen by passersby from leaving the premises, and entering the blades.

Results

Inside the shredding hopper, nothing survives. Your documents, media, hard drives, uniforms, anything you throw at it, will be obliterated and mixed with thousands of pounds of similar material. The materials are then taken to a processing facility that recycles the remains.
